This was an entry for the 2023 solitaire print and play contest on BGG. 

The game is played in 30 minutes. Suited for ages 10+.  This game is designed as a filler while you wait for your turn to come in The Campaign for North Africa: The Desert War 1940-43.

Introduction

As the Demon Lord, you harness the power of Demon Essence to create and unleash your own demonic creatures, seeking to possess corrupt and greedy villagers and establish dominance over the realm.

Please do not feel bad for the cardboard villagers as they had it coming.

Object

Possess as many Villagers to gain a high score. 

Components

6x White Minion dice.

24 x Demon Essence cubes. Preferably, 6x Red, 6x Blue, 6x Green, 6x Yellow, 

3x Tracker cubes (used for tracking). Preferably Black.

13x Villager cards

7x Realm cards 

2x Tracker cards

4x Pentacle Tokens (use tokens/buttons/coins)

Gameplay 

The game consists of 7 Rounds, each round consists of the following Phases: 

1- Draw and add Villager cards.  

2- Roll all of your Minion dice.

3- Assign your minions.

4- Produce Essence. 

5- Assign Essence. 

6- Resolve Villager cards.
